Personalized Occupational Therapy Building Confidence, Independence, and Everyday Success

Supporting the Whole Family, Not Just the Individual.

Every child, teen, and adult deserves the tools to participate fully in daily life. At OT Kids Can, we partner closely with families to create personalized therapy plans that address real-world challenges and build meaningful skills for greater independence, confidence, and success.

How it Works

We start with a free 30-minute consultation call to ensure your family is a good fit for our services.

Intake or Evaluation

We begin by getting to know your child — and your family. During this stage, we develop a comprehensive Occupational Profile and explore your child’s strengths, needs, history, and priorities, including the quality of life and niche goals that matter most to you.

This collaborative process helps us understand daily routines, environments, and meaningful activities so we can create a truly individualized plan.

You’ll receive a thoughtful summary or comprehensive evaluation with clear next steps.

Personalized Treatment Plan

Every child — and every family — is unique. We design an individualized treatment plan that supports your child’s development while also equipping parents and caregivers with practical tools and strategies.

Our plans focus not only on clinical progress, but on meaningful outcomes that improve quality of life at home, school, and in the community.

Therapeutic Collaboration

Therapy is a partnership. Through secure, HIPAA-compliant sessions, we work directly with your child while also supporting parents and caregivers every step of the way.

You’ll gain practical strategies to foster growth, build confidence, and create lasting impact.

  • Direct individual sessions

  • Parent and caregiver sessions

  • Home and community strategy support

Signs you or your child may benefit from Occupational Therapy

An OT eval can provide clarity and guidance. Some signs that an evaluation may be helpful include:

  • Constantly moving, fidgeting, or having trouble sitting still

  • Playing in ways that feel rough or unsafe

  • Difficulty copying actions or learning new movements

  • Challenges with focus or giving up on tasks easily

  • Impulsive behavior that gets in the way of learning or play

  • Limited eye contact during interactions

  • Picky eating or avoiding certain food textures

  • Decreased body awareness (for example, bumping into things often)

  • Struggles with daily activities like feeding or dressing

  • Strong reactions (too much or too little) to sounds, textures, touch, or movement
